Presentation Language and Time
English is the official language of ISPCAN 2018 Prague, therefore all presentations must be prepared and delivered in English. The time reserved for each presentation varies according to the presentation type:
- Keynote Lecture 30 minutes (incl. discussion)
- Oral 18 or 20 minutes (incl. discussion)
Authors are asked to follow the assigned times.
Please prepare your presentation preferably using PowerPoint version 2010 or 2013, however versions 2007 and 2003 are also supported.
Supported file types:
- Presentation: PPT, PPA, PPTA, PPTX, PDF
- Video: AVI, MPG, MKV, MOV, MP4, WMV
- Audio: WMA, MP3, WAV
- Pictures: JPG, GIF, BMP, TIFF
SPEAKERS´ READY ROOM - Uploading your Presentation Onsite
Your presentation must be handed over to the technicians in the SPEAKERS´ READY ROOM (room 2.1, floor 2) at your earliest convenience, but no later than TWO HOURS BEFORE the beginning of the corresponding session. The presentation for an early morning session must be handed over the day before.
In the SPEAKERS´ READY ROOM, you will be assisted by the technician, who will help you to download your presentation to the intranet. You will also be able to review your presentation and to verify that it has been transferred correctly to the network.
Speakers‘ ready room will be available in the following times:

In the Lecture Room
Your presentation will be transferred directly to the lecture room through the intranet.
Once the presentation is launched on the computer in the respective lecture room, you will advance your own slideshow using the remote control.
All speakers are requested to be present in the lecture room 10 minutes before the session starts to meet with the session chair. Please, do not come at the last minute with your own computer into the lecture room: you will NOT BE ABLE to connect it. All presentations must be downloaded in the SPEAKERS´ READY ROOM beforehand.
If any problems occur, there will be assistance staff in each lecture room.
Poster presenters should keep the following schedule:
- Posters with even numbers shall be presented on Monday during lunch, i.e. 12:45 -13:45
- Posters with odd numbers on Tuesday during lunch, i.e. 12:45 -13:45.
The poster area will be located on the 2nd floor of the Congress Center. All posters should be displayed for the entire duration of the Congress.
Should you need any assistance with the poster display, please, ask in the registration area.
Each poster board will have a specific number. Please make sure to mount your poster on the poster board with the number corresponding to the number assigned to your poster presentation.
Maximum poster dimensions (portrait orientation) should be 90 cm wide and 120 cm high (35.4 in x 47.2 in).
Your poster must not exceed the recommended size. The organizers will provide suitable fixing materials, and onsite assistance will be available to help you to display your poster.
Mounting and Removing your Poster
Your poster should be mounted on September 2, 17:00 – 20:00. All posters must be hung by the first poster session (3 September, 12:00).
Posters should be removed on the last day of the congress (5 September) from 11:00 to 13:30. Posters remaining past 13:30 will be removed and discarded by the organizers.
The organizers offer a possibility to print your poster onsite. To avoid carrying the poster all the way from your home and any possible damage or loss, you may send us your poster via e-mail and we will print it for you. You can pick it up at the Registration desk onsite.
Authors interested in the printing service should send their posters in PDF format (printing quality) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once your poster is checked, our personnel will get back to you with a confirmation.
